Would be ecstatic with a point considering the current injury situation, beyond extreme poor history playing in Carolina and the Canes current home record.

This will be our 3rd and final Friday game of the regular season, we are 1-1 losing to Calgary 5-3 back in Oct 28th and beating LA 2-1 Nov 11th. We must not like playing on Fridays, the only other day I could find something similar was Wednesdays were it looks like we play 5 games.

I think a big part of it is with the typical day on day off schedule and being a Canadian team, we typically play Saturday nights which gives us Tuesday and Thursday games instead of Wednesdays and Fridays

I guess Hoffman never heard the old hockey standby - the only thing you can do with a pulled groin is play with it.

Seriously though, if Hoffman can't use his speed then his game is really diminished. I guess you could dress him as a power play specialist only, but probably best to give him another week, let him get back to 100% and play him next Thursday at home vs. the Avs.

Corona, actually. I work at the Moe's at same mall where all the visiting teams stay so I'll occasionally make food for them. EK is ****ing dreamy in person. And y'all should take this as a good sign. The last players I made food for were a few of the penguins last month the day before they torched Carolina 7-1.

My boy Chad has taken his talents to the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. Still just as dreamy though.
