Second half of the game was a bit of a let down but otherwise solid game. 8ga in last 4gp is very encouraging. Doing a lot better at challenging every puck.

Part of playing a good road game is your goalie keeping the crowd out of it for the most part.

It was almost like a home game with how much they were booing their own team near the end of the 2nd.

T.O.
One of the huge differences between JM and DJ. Martin is asked that he must be happy with the performance but he also talks about some weakness unprompted despite winning the game.

With DJ, we lose a game and we're still talking about how good we are and bad luck. It's this messaging that will make these guys actually try to improve. No participation ribbons.

Lot less wtf moments during the point streak.

They collectively look more cohesive. I think I've seen Brady cherry pick once since Martin took over

Still waiting for Xhekaj the savior to do... Well.. Anything. Completely invisible lol.

This is a tad convoluted, but it's kind of funny that if you were to transliterate his Albanian surname into a Slavic language, say neighbouring Serbian, it would sound almost exactly like the imperative for "wait".

I didn’t love the structure this game. Korpi was great and the Habs couldn’t hit the net. I’ll take the win but need to tighten up.

They were alright for the first half or so, but for the first 5 mins, and particularly in the third MTL really stepped up it's forcheck and really showed more urgency. When we are rushed in our decisions the structure seems to come apart.

Think you may have got Zub mixed up with # 24. He may have had a sub par game but he was far from trash... Agree with the other observations
