So does this confirm that Guptil was just a throw in for the Spezza deal?

He had a good first and second year in college and he has decent size and skill.

He declined in his 3rd year and there were questions about attitude and work ethic from what i understand.

I wouldnt say he was a throw in considering 36 points in 38 games in his second year to lead the University of Michigan

Have we ever had a #30 guy play a significant (maybe 200+) number of games in the NHL?

Mark Stone was voted 24th (out of 25) just after being drafted. He hasn't played 200 games yet, but it's a pretty safe bet that he will. Probably a few other guys as well but that's one that really stands out.
