I think the Jets will manage to foul up the development of these two Finnish ice hockey players too

I was thinking: what happened to us since we had the greatest Finnish Jet of all time, Hannu Jarvenpaa?

Also Selanne and Numminen!

Numminen is the reason I became a defenseman (not because I saw Lil Teppo, either)

Numminen highlights should be an hour of mostly boring great defensive plays, where he makes it look like there's never any danger. At least that's how I remember him most fondly from the national team Though that was in his later years. I think earlier he had more flare but also made the occasional mistake, again based on national team. NHL coverage back then was "text-tv" and weekly highlights.

Anyway one of my fav players ever and seems a genuinely great and warm hearted man.
