Just having a player who you know what they can do is beneficial. So I see it as two center spots accounted for - one in the top 6 and one in the bottom 6 - and two spots up for grabs in competition among guys already on the roster.
I guess the team goal is to gather all Ohio natives now

This doesn't hurt anything. Pretty good signing. The one I'm worried about is Boone.
Not a fan of the term or the dollars.
Grand scheme of things not a big deal, but overall I think we overpaid in both departments.

Nash's wasn't awful. Campbell was a disaster.
It is interesting the bottom-6 C pipeline we've developed with Boston, though.

58% FO winner for Boston last year and the numbers have improved over the last few years in that department. Not going to "make or break" but I like the signing.

Nothing wrong with this signing at all. Also I wouldn't be surprised to see his offensive numbers get boosted a bit with more responsibility/ice time. Good faceoff, character, PK guy. This is something we desperately needed.
