You might get cooked for this but it's true. Pavs is completely useless for us so far this playoffs.

Pavs needs to be the one to make the call on taking himself out. There is too much respect for him at all levels of the organization to scratch him.

Yeah he may not be playing at a passable level right now - but I think if he isn't the one to make the call, and does get taken out of the lineup, it creates some bad vibes in that locker room - something we don't need, especially this time of year.

I don't really buy this narrative that Pavelski can't be scratched because bad vibes. I'm certain everyone in the room sees hes slowing down, and everyone in the room wants to win a Cup. If he's scratched they'll all understand why, and he'll take it like a pro. Dude definitely could benefit from some rest.
