Vegas had been better this period but the Stars carried the play in the first two periods. If the Stars didn’t pass up so many shooting opportunities they’d probably be winning. It’s like some of them are scared to shoot.

I don’t think it’s a lack of effort. Vegas is just too big, and they can skate well. The slower and smaller Stars forward group can’t get around them or through them.
