Before people get too excited thinking it's to do with moves being made, he was recalled last month for a few hours. There was an article that went into deeper detail on The Athletic but basically it was to reward him cause he'd been working hard with the Marlies and he has Crohn's disease, so they got him some extra pay.

this seems only to make sure that both sandin and lily are eligible for AHL playoffs; but how many recalls would teh leafs have left are they call them back?

I believe Gravel is on a one-way deal with the same salary NHL/AHL. Anyway he was brought up and sent down a week ago.
