He generally lands on teams with terrible defenses. Then when the team finishes the next season with the #20 ranked defense, he will get lauded locally for turning it around.

So just how bad is our defense?

Opposing QBs are putting up Tom Brady MVP numbers against us. Franchise guys such as Brandon Weeden, Kirk Cousins and Sam Bradford. Lets not forget rookies Jameis Winston and Marcus Marioto.

Weeden and Bradford didn't play that well against the Saints. No need to blow things out of proportion....until that Giants game it looked like they were getting better on D. Then Ellerbe, Kikaha and Swann all got hurt at the same time and you can't play good D with guys like Hawthorne and Browner on the field full time. Not like they would be great otherwise but they'd be like #25 or so and hanging in games like they did earlier in the season.

Too much talent on that D to not turn it around at least somewhat. Getting rid of Ryan's crappy zone blitzes should be good for at least a couple more third down stops a game.

I guess that's fair but man if his last name wasn't what it was manning wouldn't be talked about much. His numbers aren't deserving of it in the slightest but sadly with 2 rings he will be in the hall of fame.

Weeden wasn't playing bad either, he was doing what he was doing to everyone which was dink and dunk to a 70% completion percentage by never throwing the ball more than 5 yards down the field. Not too unlike Sam Bradford, who was actually turning the ball over. That game was a blowout because the Saints clearly quit. Sam Bradford still sucked, and no one here is calling me bitter for saying that anymore
