He's 28, so a wily vet on this team. He apparently can PK and forecheck, so he's like a Girgensons without the talent. The scouting reports put him at "replacement level" player, which puts him in the top 25% of this team for defensive zone awareness.

This is just a Girgensons replacement that might be waived later on. Nothing to see here and I doubt the front office wants to paint it any other way.
