This guy has missed the playoffs 7 times during his last 10 seasons as an NHL head coach.

The NHL is a wonky place and loves it's retreads.
Well it doesn't help that so many rookie coaches that come in are awful

If anything the last couple of years proved that the veteran guys can still coach (Laviolette, Deboer, Cassidy, Maurice) etc...

So if the team isn't any better by x-mas you have to fire Adams, don't you?

Can you really allow him to go into another deadline trying to "fix" the team?

Because the owner is hoping that nostalgia distracts fans from how awful he's been in charge of the team.

Nah, that isn't going to last long. Most are ready to run him out of town on a rail, if he ever is seen around the hockey arena.

Worst decision he made was buying the Bills. The Sabres have been an afterthought ever since and he's an idiot who thinks he has an idea how to dabble with the team.

Eh, it's not like he's Treliving at the deadline or something. He did very little this deadline except sell a couple of expiring contracts to playoff teams. It's not like he's hamfisting trades (yet). But there is likely time for him to do that this summer. :biglaugh:
