Guy was a bad fit on the ice, glad he’s gone. Seems like a great person off the ice though and props to him for coming into a new team and being the impetus behind the mom’s trip honouring Manson’s late mom

I do wonder how much the injuries impacted his time with the Avs rather than just being lazy. I think maybe it was a combination of both but yeah it clearly didn't work at all with us.

Of all the Avalanche there ever was, he was one of them.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer?

The guy was brought in for a role that was way above his level. So I can't hate him for that. He did make a few nifty passes here and there, though. The biggest contribution he had towards the Avalanche was poking Kuemper in the eye.

I was excited when Colorado acquired Johansen, and then immediately concerned a few games into the year.

He was truly horrendous at times. In the 16 games from 1/2 to 2/10, he had a measly 3 assists and a -10 rating, which was more than the next closest two Avalanche players combined (-9).

Johansen has been halfway decent since then (10GP, 5P, +4), but it's too little, way too late.
