Will he be released for the WJC?

What other players in the AHL are 1985 born and are eligible for the WJC tourney?

Bergeron is in for Canada, Burns looks to be available from the Wild as well, while Horton is doubtful at this point. It's interesting Bergeron is having a much better year points wise vs. Horton in the AHL and yet Keenan won't release Horton for Canada's camp and Bergeron has played in the Senior World Championships last year for Canada. Keenan really is an idiot!

I don't see why he won't be. The only thing holding him back is his injury, and he should be healed up by the start of the tourney.

Suter is near returning from his injury, and Poile has already said that he will be released for the WJC, stating, "That sort of experience is extremely valuable to a young player, and we're happy that he'll have the opportunity to help his country defend their title"
