Watch the rangers pull a rabbit depending on where you stand and sign Malkin for cheaper and trade Kakko nemeths money plus for Kane @50% or more.

Larry brooks is a bafoon but I believe it was his write up of a sign and trade type situation. Has that ever been done if so someone have specifics?

Basically a team like Arizona signs kadri or whomever and then retains money for more assets. Is that possible?
