And the previous thread hits 1000.

So, is the starter job Makarov's or what? Where is Hackett going to end up? Or Lieuwen for that matter... does he get a spell in Elmira to get right?

Hackett would have to accept an assignment to Elmira as he's not on his ELC anymore. Lieuwen can be sent to Elmira though.

How has grigorenko been playing for Rochester? Will he be able to make an impact in the NHL next year as a better than average player?

@kevinoDandC - Appears #Amerks are all healthy. D Drew Bagnall, RW Zac Dalpe, LW William Carrier all skating in practice.
#Amerks are skating with 5 lines in practice. That includes Jerome Leduc still on the wing (with Dan Catenacci and Matt Ellis).
If the #Sabres are going to recall a center, as per coach Ted Nolan's comment on Monday, they haven't done so yet.

@RSandersonWHTK - Monday, November 24 - #NYRangers taking a look at another veteran D.
Former #Sabres/#Amerks blueliner Henrik Tallinder has signed a PTO with #AHL Hartford. #HWP

@TSNBobMcKenzie - Monday, November 24 - Veteran D Henrik Tallinder on PTO with NYR AHL affiliate in Hartford.
Expected to play some games there, see where it goes after that.
Tallinder was on PTO with TOR during NHL training camp but suffered shoulder injury and was released from PTO. Healthy now.

@kevinoDandC - #Amerks D Drew Bagnall and RW William Carrier are cleared to play. RW Zac Dalpe will see doctor Wednesday but target for return is Friday.
Drew Bagnall's return gives the #Amerks 7 healthy D-men, so Jerome Leduc will stay on right wing, where he played last week.
Contrary to somewhat popular belief, #Amerks D Jerome Leduc said he never played forward in junior. He played forward from age 7 or 8 to 13.

Grigorenko this season so far reminds me of Armia last season. Flashes of brilliance followed by a disappearance for a while.

I agree. Grigorenko was drafted a year after Armia, so that makes sense. Armia has been playing with men for much longer too, so I try to remind myself that Grigorenko is doing just fine, and still has all the potential in the world, as long as he doesn't stop developing. I think it's natural for him to have developmental hiccups, considering the stage of the development process he's in.

Middle of nowhere
Jackals again playing to tie for the top spot in the ECHL again tonight. 8-2-2 in their last 12 games after a 1-2-1 start. Both regulation losses basically by a goal(gave up an empty nettter Sunday in a 2-0 loss) Game was misleading. Other team got a garbage rebound goal and their goalie was terrific stopping 38 shots so it wasnt a lack of effort for a Sunday game that was a 3 in 3 and 4 in 5 with 2 day games. 5 out of 8 points on the week. Easily could have been 8 out of 8

@RSandersonWHTK -

#Amerks RW Zac Dalpe (upper) being evaluated by the doctor today. Out tonight, but could return Friday if cleared & conditioning is ready.
#Amerks Captain Drew Bagnall returns to the lineup tonight. The D-man missed the last 7 games with an upper-body injury.

@AmerksHockey - Our next "Twitter Interview" is with net minder Andrey Makarov. Tweet us your questions using the hashtag #AskMakarov.

@AmerksHockey - Watch Jake McCabe’s "Twitter Interview" from earlier this month - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P0KZV8B9r4&list=UUjchcc2HFKo6B1BwVhBRxEA

@AmerksHockey - Did You Know? The #Amerks are the only team in the league to have 5 players with 15 or more points - Varone, Adam, Armia, Schaller, Larsson.

@RSandersonWHTK - That didn't take long. Griffins LW Mitch Callahan jams in Grand Rapids' 3rd shot of the game. GR 1 #Amerks 0 [1st 1:07]
@RSandersonWHTK - And now just :19 later, #Amerks C Mikhail Grigorenko puts the puck in the stands and will sit for delay of game [1st 1:26]
@kevinoDandC - Andy Miele with the goal for the Griffins. And now a delay of game on Mikhail Grigorenko. #Amerks shorthanded.
@RSandersonWHTK - They score again. Griffins have 2 goals on 5 shots. This one a little strange...Callahan had it in the slot. Not sure scorer. 2-0 [1st 3:43]
@kevinoDandC - A total fluke goal for the Griffins. Mitch Callahan loses control but Andreas Athanasiou chips it, hits a stick, up over Lieuwen's shoulder.
