Played left wing on his line for two seasons, scored a lot of goals that were really all because of his outstanding skating ability and instincts. If he was not the c I would have likely scored 10% of the goals I did.
Have to wonder if this had anything to do with the heart condition that was found by drs in his preseason medical that resulted in his retirement.
His family has also done so much for the community of Thunder Bay. Here is hoping the city and the nhl alumni and current players so something to honour hi. Like name an arena after him.
