I noticed a post from Mr. BigMouthBarry that said one of his sources indicated there was a rift between Richards and Sutter. Maybe this started brewing once they moved him off the Carter line and even further down the lineup? It sure seems like there is something different on this team the past couple of weeks.

If there is some credibility to this, hopefully they can get back to Kings hockey. Richards is a key leader on this team and needs to play a role in this.

That's not someone who should be considered a legit source. Did the Kings get Lindros yet?

Just speculating, Ziggy...it's not like all of his stuff is completely baseless. If you think about the past few weeks, it makes sense.

Rumors like this need a link to a credible source. This is not a credible source for rumors of this nature.

Site rule 13 specifically states this (although it really should be two separate rules as they're two separate issues).

13) Libel: Any posts libeling players, prospects, or hockey personnel. It's not acceptable to post that you heard Player X has a drinking/drug/sex/personal problem from a "good" source. Do not post information that can be considered defamatory without a link to a credible media source. Other forums, personal websites, hearsay, and personal testimonials are not considered credible.

Mike Richards is the consummate professional. If there is a disagreement, I'm sure he's handling it professionally. Players who have played for Sutter past and present have often commented how much they appreciate the honesty and transparency. Doesn't mean they always agree, but they know where each other stands. Respect and integrity apply to both of these guys. That's that.
