He is the best player right now! I dont care what people say. He will be on team canada for the next 20 yrs. Hat trick today, did you kids see the moves he put on? No one could do that! Rick Nash for President! Just sick player to watch!

anyone know when the replay is on tsn tonnight?

Nash on the half breakaway as hes falling, wow!

Nash setting up Thornton on the side of the goal, wow!

I swear if this kid had a decent centreman in CLB he would easily score 60.

Those were really nice goals everyone of them. The passes to him were awesome too, from Heatley and Jovanovski.

You haven't even seen Jagr yet ;)

  6. Haven't you been reading these boards for the last two seasons?

    Nash doesn't set anyone up!

BTW, Nash will have Crosby centering him, shortly.

Can't wait to see Nash and Thornton get ahold of the American team...it will be a bigger challenge, but they might be the best duo in the tourney.

Also he doesn't play any defense. What's he doing on national team?

  11. True ... sweet avi, BTW.

This is Nash's coming out party. Too early to assume he will play like this all tournament, but he will be a much bigger star by the time it is over.

wow...3 goals against Latvia! Wayne who?

Piss poor performance from team Canada, nice shot percentage from Nash. The kid is a stud, but this opponent was straight from SUCKSville.

Just think, Nash could have played as an overager for the Knights this year
He would have scored over 100 goals w/ Perry and Schremp !!!!!

That's the most amazing thing about both Nash and Kovalchuk. Sure, we can nag them about not being good enough on defence....not doing this........not doing that. But when all is said and done, they're still younger than most players we consider "prospects" (Usually like 21-24 years old)

  18. I don't recall whether this one came from the HF or Metro****** CBJ boards bizoncol, but I'm sure you'll remember it ... Nash doesn't play on the PK!!

    Send him back to juniors!!

He had a nice game today, but that half breakaway goal shouldn't have counted.

    Hossa was great!
    Setzinger was impressive!
    Mezin wow-ed!

Though fans in Canada were unable to watch anything but the Canada game so far.

As a Canadian living abroad I'm seeing ALL the games and noticing that Nash is far from alone in the excellent department.

So don't put his performance so far ahead of others you in Canada haven't seen much of yet.

  23. That's because 2 of hist points were on the powerplay. Try watching the games next time.
