I noticed he has 3 goals and 10 assists in 15 games. How the hell is he getting points? I saw him in Preds camp for a couple of weeks and his hands were awful. Has he turned it around offensively, or is it a fluke?

He had 8 goals and 24 points last year in 43 GP so it probably isn't a fluke. He has a hard shot - which could be how he is generating his points.

He has a good hard shot. I guess maybe he is banking it off the legs of other players standing way wide of the net. That's about all I can gather

During skating before practice, he would rifle pucks from the blueline. Maybe 1 in 4 would be on net. Most were several feet high and wide. On the PP, I could see him rifling a shot and having it deflect off one of the fowards near the half boards. Goalie would never expect that.
