Hoping for a win, but last week knocked a lot out of me.

Just want to see the young guys play well.

Here's an idea that's just crazy enough to work. How about Huberdeau follows behind Bjugstad when he drives to the net and Huberdeau stops a couple feet in front of the net to pick up the rebound. So, Bjugstad either scores or the goalie kicks a rebound out and Huberdeau gets a tap in. They scored like that against Minnesota earlier in the year. Why not do it once or twice a game? If they're on the same line, they should be talking about offensive strategies like that.. Keyword would be "talking".

Barky hasn't been very good the last two games after the knee injury, expecting a big game from him. Hatter at minimum.

Also hoping to see that fourth line flying again, Gomez on the wing really gave that line a playmaker who can pass the puck well for guys like Jesse and Matthias.

Just win :fence:

The Red Wings had some really nice stuff to say about the Cats after morning skate today:

Babcock: "They've got real good players ... they played Toronto the other night and they were a dominant team." "We think they are deep in talent"

Kronwall: "They got a pretty good thing going over there, they've got some really good players that are playing with a lot passion ... they've been giving us tough times."

well since we have wrecked them this season so far they better be humble

"@GeorgeRichards: Looks like Scott Gomez stays in the #FlaPanthers lineup v #RedWings ... Olsen, Hayes and Barch likely scratches..."

He deserves it. Been playing great. Set up that Matthias goal with a great play vs the Leafs.

Is Olsen hurt or are they just giving up on him?

He's just the odd-man out right now.

Campbell - Can't scratch
Gilbert - Can't scratch
Guddy - Already been scratched
Kulikov - Can't Scratch
Weaver - Can't scratch if they hope to trade
Jovo - Can't scratch your captain sadly

I wouldn't be surprised if Olsen plays tomorrow if they give Jovo a rest since it's b2b games, but he's most likely a scratch until someone gets traded. He's still part of the long term though.

Not sure how much he'd like to be in an organization that would scratch him when he can play better than 3 guys actually in the lineup.

In CHI he wasn't even in the NHL. Also conditioning might be an issue since he had a leg injury.

I'd love for us to dominate the Wings again tonight, winning the season series against Toronto/Detroit/Montreal would be a nice thing to look back on this year. We just have to figure out Boston/Tampa and Ottawa moving forward.

A win tonight keeps the slim playoff hunt alive, hoping the young guns can have another great game. A strong finish to the season would help Tallon attract and/or negotiate with some free agents.

I want to see another PP goal if possible and more of that cycling of the puck down low and aggressiveness shown by the new Geico spokesman aka Jonny HOBO-deau.

LET'S GO PANTHERS!!
