The Detroit Red Wings have the following players available for trade.
G Cristobel Huet - With the announcement that Jussi Markkannen has changed his mind on heading to Europe for the season Cristobel Huet is again available to teams looking for a good inexpensive backup goalie.
LW/C/RW Stu Barnes - The very versatile and cheap veteran still brings alot to the table. The Red Wings value this versatility and as such will only trade him as part of a larger deal.
LW/C Todd White and C Wes Walz - Of Barnes, White, and Walz only one would be traded. Like Barnes, White and Walz are inexpensive especially considering their ratings.
LW Milan Bartovic and RW Mathias Tjarnqvist - Both players provide depth to a team and have already had NHL experience. Also in both cases, their respective NHL teams have holes at the respective positions that provide them with a good shot at landing a full time role.
While the team will listen to prospect/pick offers, the main focus is to package some players for an upgrade on LW or possible C and as such prospect/pick final trade decisions may have to wait until the primary need is addressed.
