Mackinnon, Matthews and McDavid all have a shot at reaching some pretty impressive milestones this season. Let's try ranking them from most to least impressive.
McDavid has a very low goal output this year. He's going to score around ~30 goals.
100 assists has been hit 13x, and this would by far be the least goals to go with it.
1) All 41 home games
2) 70 goals
3) 100 assists
Not even Gretzky has done the first one. He did all 41 away games one year. He did 40 home games in a different year.
"Gretzky did it once" has to be the highest tier of impressiveness.
It's hard because some idiot puts the puck in his own net and your streak is over.Yep shocked it's last here. I feel like players recently have come a lot closer to the other two.

Not mentioning any names.
Go away with your logicAnd if he didn't put it in his own name and the Avs lost 2-1?
You can't be serious for criticizing Gretzky here.1) All 41 home games
2) 70 goals
3) 100 assists

Yes but key point is 11 of those 13 by 1 player, so it is very rare, and done by top 5 players of all time.
So with that being said, is the rarest thing not the hardest thing to do?Don’t care about the 41 home game streak. Just seems like some luck, albeit with a whole lot of skill. Better, far, far better seasons have happened though.
70 goals is easily more impressive than 100 assists.
For some reason I don’t care what the rarest feat is. I care which is actually hardest to do and takes the most talent.
