You could go with a couple of different guys here, but this kind of feels like the right spot for Jones, so him, I guess? Might be a reputation vote, but don't think anyone else had done enough to outright over take him; especially the guys that would be making a big leap up the rankings compared to last year.

add Laba who has very similar NCAA numbers to Chmelar

Jones and Robertson might set our own record for biggest drop between 2 polls

Forgot this was going on but I think Jones is too low. It doesn't help that he plays so little. Tough ask for a guy to be sitting all the time and then expect him to be sharp the one or 2 games he gets a month. Probably a handful of teams he'd be an everyday player for right now. There's a few players in the league right now in that mold where defensively you're better off trying to shield them on the bottom pairing and just let them do their thing on powerplay. To me that's where Jones is at, but obviously that role is unavailable on this team

voted Forte but if this comes down to a tie-breaker, I'd throw my vote to Jones. Great in HFD and already an NHL player, just not a regular one. I'm sure a team like San Jose or Chicago could use him. I could see Gorton have Hughes look into Jones if Hutson isn't expected to go pro next year.
