Got to be Henriksson for me. I don't know if he'll ever get to the NHL but he's a solid AHL player. Does a lot of unappreciated role jobs fairly well.

Henricks and Larsson okay seasons in the USHL.....start college hockey next year. IMO they'll probably need at least 3 seasons each if not the whole shebang.

It's hard to say with someone like Ollas. I like him better than Boyko though. Playing for Merrimack this year and they don't seem like a very good team. He's managed to keep save % above the .900 mark. That's something on a maybe less than mediocre team and I think he has real possibility to be signed....maybe 60/70 %. I don't know.

I think Vaisanen is in a similar boat as Ollas. His production has picked up a bit in the second half so there seems to be progress. I think a lot will depend if he can advance again next year.

Honestly, I used to think we had a shitty prospect pool but Jones at #7 is very solid. He'll be a solid bottom pairing / PP specialist in this league. Top of the prospect pool is solid too with Gabe and Othmann.

It's far better than some people think. Just look at that top 20. We have quality forwards coming out the ying-yang. A lot of tough to play against players also. Not every player is going to make the team and some are going to be traded to address weaknesses but that prospect pool is pretty damn good. Who even thought that Rempe and Edstrom would be playing NHL minutes this year?

Makes me wonder if Kakko is just that bad or if we're just much better developing forwards in other leagues.

Kakko is still only 23 and he did score 40 points last year. Missing nearly 2 months with the injury didn't help things and neither did playing with Brodzinski and Bonino. My opinion is he is going to eventually figure it out and be a consistent 50 point player that can play defense. Not a star but an important asset. The development thing is overblown in my opinion. Laf, Chytil, Miller, Schneider are all young players figuring it out. Kakko will too.

Honorable mention:
Bobby Trivigno.
Was not a fan of play until the last three weeks.
I believe he finally understands what it takes to succeed.
Could have come too late for this organization. Not sure he will be signed.

Why was Sykora ahead of Berard? Was the vote before the recent stretch or something?
You know it was lol.

And I'd still vote Sykora ahead. I want to see if Berard's offense will translate to the NHL. Sykora will have a nice NHL career with his style and is more of a sure thing IMO.
