D Brandon Crawley won round 24. C Adam Tambellini is added to the poll.

RULES CHANGE:

Since HF no longer functions beyond the forum, no reason to have their old rules. We do, however, need the same rules for everyone or else the rankings mean nothing.

SKATER PROSPECT: A player 24 or younger with 50 or fewer NHL games.

GOALIE PROSPECT: A player 25 or younger with 25 or fewer NHL games.

EXCEPTION 1: If a player completed the required 50/25 games, but is still not regarded as an NHL regular because he's shuffling between the NHL and the AHL, he could still be a prospect as long as he's 24 or younger and if agreed upon by most people here.

EXCEPTION 2: A player who is no older than 25 years old at the time of the vote and is a borderline NHLer could still count if agreed upon by most people here.

Please vote on who to add to the next round of polling.

Let's go for Virta. The Finnish league is pretty good and he was a second liner there, so who knows.

Add Morgan Barron who gets no love here for no reason.

Leehdahl, add Barron.

Just think has a good mix of skills, size and grit, an element the Rangers lack.

Leedahl sucks. He put up decent numbers, but he was an overager and played with two huts who scored 130+ points (and a defenseman who had more points per game than he did). When you have over 40 fewer points than your linemates, you're obviously a passenger. He will stink it up in the ECHL next season.

The exact same points apply to Virta

Virta, was an excellent play driver in Liiga (over 55% CF%) and has some skills to back it up with too.

Add Lettieri

Fontaine. Add Barron. I think he's not getting any recognition because we don't know much about him. He'll be the biggest riser in the next poll once we see wha he does at Cornell.

Could be like Adam Gaudette who went from an unknown guy in the USHL and then tore up college hockey his first two years.

Fontaine, add Lettieri

Lettieri over Barron for now because he's already shown he can perform in the NCAA - once Barron shows the same I'm sure he'll rise quickly

Went Halverson.

He's had ups and downs, but to this point he's made adjustments every time he is challenged. So in that regard, he's earned some leeway for this season.

With that said, he's right up there with Kovacs in the the make or break category.

I'm surprised Lettieri even got an NHL contract. He's an ECHL-AHL tweener at best.

Barron on the other hand is already 6'3" and growing. He has the skating ability to make it in today's NHL. I'll predict he's in our top 20 by next offseason and potentially top 15 the year after that.

I'll go with Fontaine- unless Halverson changes position he's not getting ranked by me any more.
