RULES CHANGE:

Since HF no longer functions beyond the forum, no reason to have their old rules. We do, however, need the same rules for everyone or else the rankings mean nothing.

SKATER PROSPECT: A player 24 or younger with 50 or fewer NHL games.

GOALIE PROSPECT: A player 25 or younger with 25 or fewer NHL games.

EXCEPTION 1: If a player completed the required 50/25 games, but is still not regarded as an NHL regular because he's shuffling between the NHL and the AHL, he could still be a prospect as long as he's 24 or younger and if agreed upon by most people here.

EXCEPTION 2: A player who is no older than 25 years old at the time of the vote and is a borderline NHLer could still count if agreed upon by most people here.

Now just add Tkachyov, Butcher and Kerfoot to our prospect pool before the season begins and we will have had quite a significant upgrade of our prospect pool the past 12 months. Which ya gotta like.

I'll go with Crawley here and give the scouting department the benefit of the doubt on him. Scott Reedy would've been a top 12 prospect for us though.

Halverson, Fogarty, Tambellini will never be serious NHL players. I'd bet a lot on that. I do wonder what Ronning showed people to have him above others on this list.

Better players? Not really, although he's a competent second line forward in the AHL.

Yeah, Rambo is an OK 2nd liner in the AHL but he's got a great shot so he has upside... I don't see any upside to Fogarty honestly so i don't get this.
