Speculation: Question about upcoming tickets

Red Wings fan coming In peace. I have never had trouble finding tickets before in Pittsburgh. I finally purchased tickets after only a couple were left.

The upcoming preseason game vs Detroit wasn’t even listed as an event on multiple ticket sites. I’ve never have came across this before? I spent a chunk of change to go and was wondering if anyone knew why this game was so difficult to get tickets to?

Is that the annual afternoon "kiddie matineee" preseason game, where the Pens do something like let everyone under the age of 30 in free? That eats up a lot of seats.

I do not know but that would probably explain it. I mean there is nothing out there and some of the tickets being sold are absolutely insane. ( found a set for over 1,000 and another for over 2,000) not being sarcastic
