In the last 6 games Kyrou is 3-5-8 and +3
In the last 6 games Thomas is 2-1-3 and even
In the last 6 games Kyrou has taken 500% more grief than Thomas

Yes, it's great that Kyrou broke out of his long cold streak with a few very good games. Let's see if he can keep it up in the last 9 games. He was so-so last night, but did make a nice play to set up Saad.

Brian and others have been adament about how much better Kyrou's defensive game has been this year (and I will agree it has been better), but I didn't fail to notice that when we were protecting a 1 goal lead late in the game that the coach had Toropchenko out on the ice with Schenn and Saad instead of Kyrou. Not hating, just stating.

LA trailing 2-0. They’re momentarily the team for us to catch since Vegas passed them tonight. We’re 5 points behind LA.
5 points, but they're +3 on us for the 1st tiebreak so it's really 6 points.

If we repeat what we've done in our 9 games (7-1-1), and they repeat what they've done in their last 10 games, we'll ... still be 2 points short. And 6-4-0 for them isn't out of the question, since they have 6 home games and close with CGY, ANH, MIN and CHI and also have @ANH and @sj in there along with a home game vs. a fading Seattle.

Ah yes, because his first season of 9 games and his second season of 43 games totally count as legit seasons. Schenn has basically played like a 4th liner this season and stating Neighbors is 21 in his first season is more or less stating he lacks experience. It's not surprising that you wouldn't be able to grasp that.

Buch is the one centering that line.
Yes 52 games does count as his first season because he’s factually not a rookie this season. The NHL makes these things very clear.

Yeah it’s definitely a remote possibility. I’ve given up on hoping for better draft position too. We seem to be stapled to 16. We’re in that dreaded worst case scenario - not good enough for playoffs, too good for a good draft pick.

This is true. But maybe it makes us more likely to move the pick to fill a need,vs drafting someone a few yea a away.
