Shouldn't I be receiving a reply on the outstanding offers I have to Hunwick and Danis (and others) first?

Not necessary, you had qualifying on the above noted players and the offer was reasonable so the players have accepted your offers. The rest of your is handled by Mickey.

Don't want to pull a Chicago ;)

See, now that's bad. Rob and are on Amicable terms now. I invite him out for dinner and rippers when he's in town and we have a great time. Yet you always have to start something.

The Hawks won't be players in FA this year.

I assumed he was referring to the NHL Blackhawks possible QO blunder with Versteeg, Barker etc. I sure hope Bettman doesn't bail them out, would love to see what goes down!

QO offer was received on July 2nd...too late for you. If you made a trade for Wellwood than need a proof from Montreal that they did submit QO for Wellwood.

thanks ...

the free agent file says he is RFA, so I will take it as the official league record shows he was indeed given a QO, just as if he wasnt traded to me and the subject wasnt raised, it doesnt look like he would have been UFA.

so in essence, why do i have to prove he is RFA?

At the moment the file has not been updated with all the QO. If Wellwood has received a QO before July 1st, 2009 than he will stay as RFA or will accept the RFA offer. Otherwise, the RFA status will be changed to UFA before Free Agency Bidding.
