That's elite. If there's a ranking you must be right at the top lol
I had to count out Roberts' teams by hand to make sure he fit the bill, lol. I knew he missed years due to his neck injury but given that he played from the mid 80s to the late 2000s I assumed he must've hit 1000 regardless. I didn't count out Thomas's teams, I wasn't even sure if he played for 5 teams. I just knew he played a long time and I don't associate him with one team (and remembered him being on Detroit in NHL 06!) so I just took a hope and a prayer he fit, lol.

Having played a lot of EA NHL games definitely helps here. There are some players I probably wouldn't even remember without those games. Some nice trips down memory lane as well.

Lol that's true. Too bad you can pick a player only once. Would be hilarious to have a grid with one player 9 times.
I'm of the opinion that if and only if a player is the correct answer for all 9 squares, you should be able to use them multiple times. I'd love to see that override baked in. Could have used that a few days ago on JJ Daigneault.

I could only think of Boogaard. Well, first I picked Stewart, but it turns out he just missed out on getting 100 with the Wild, so this was second attempt. I could have gone more obscure with Yashin, but I enjoyed using both him and Daigle together for some stupid reason. I really struggle with Western teams and remembering who played for who, hence Gaborik.

The PIM column ruined it for me because that's a stat I usually don't follow at all.

The rare opportunity to use childhood teammate, Kip Brennan, in today's Puckdoku. Was hoping enough people played so he'd come in at 0.0%. Currently sitting at 0.1%...
I'm disappointed I didn't think of him. I usually try to think of Bears players first for obscurity points  Completely forgot he played for the Isles. I'm guessing you're aware of the incident with a fan in Manchester that got him suspended for the rest of the playoffs in 2007?

With that said, I'm more disappointed I didn't think of all-time great bust McIlrath (the current captain ffs) for Det/Fla yesterday.

I have a tendency to look at them this way: goons, secondary trade pieces, 80's, 90's, early 00's guys.

Had no idea about his suspension with Hershey; just looked it up and it came across as very Tie Domi/Flyers-ish.

I never did follow his exploits outside of the NHL, though.

Haven't seen him since the early 90s; we were never friends, but played some of the same sports. He was an excellent athlete, but probably would have been down the list of guys I grew up with to play the most games in the NHL...

I was hoping people wouldn't be so quick to use G for us since he only did it once... this is why I try to never use current players, lol

Could have had a better score but I enjoyed using 2 generations of Stastny too much. I'm weird.

Filled it out at home, so I don't have access to it, but 8/9 today. The Atlantapeg Threts continue to be a giant black hole in my brain where facts should be, and all 7 or 8 potential WPG/COL names I came up with were wrong.

Hayes - Oduya - Clarke
XXXX - Lemieux - P. Stastny
Peverley - Zacha - Orr
