[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

It’s AV's opinion. I think this is my 11th season now. I’m not naive. I don’t take anything for granted.
I’ve come into camp with the mindset every year, you have to earn your minutes. So it doesn’t change my mindset going forward.
I’ve been a Ranger a long time, and I plan on being a Ranger for a lot more years. I’m excited to get started and help this team win some games.
- Marc Staal

Be better defensively. I want to be trusted at both ends of the rink.
I've got to be physically stronger in front of the net and make the right plays when they're there.
Everything I get this year I have to earn. I'm excited for the challenge.
- Brady Skjei

We’re in a good place. I like our group.
Nobody has talked about the window, but when we beat Pittsburgh two years in a row.
Who would’ve thought that Pittsburgh would have won the Stanley Cup back-to-back with Murray in goal?
We have a good team. We believe that we can compete for the Stanley Cup.
- Alain Vigneault

Graves and Kampfer should swap sides. Graves is a lefty and Kampfer is a righty.

Newsflash: right-handed defensemen can play the left side and vice-versa.

Wow, thanks. So glad to have you around for such important details. Any chance you want to point out evidence either player had done this when partnered with a Dman who isn't the same shooting hand? Or perhaps some evidence that plan is play both players on the opposite side? Either way, thanks for the condescension.

Newsflash it's much more likely Loffen put them in wrong spots accidentally than a lefty d playing right side with a righty d playing the left. Common sense. Sound ridiculous with that attitude towards jas's post. Jesus.

Looks like Jas was pointing out a minor error. Don't see the big deal. I noticed the mistake as well.

I wasn't talking to jas I was defending him.

I was talking to the guy who jumped on him for as you said pointing out a simple error. No reason for it.

I like that second line, interested to see how it will perform. Always exciting to get a look at the new guys.

I think the Isles played a lot of their top guys at the Coliseum today so I'm assuming they'll send a clown lineup to MSG tomorrow.

They will prob dress the rest of the regulars that didn't play today...

Bellows - Nelson - Ho-Sang
Durandeau - Beauvillier - Bernier
Kulemin - Cizikas - Clutterbuck
Johnston - Gionta - St.Denis

de-haan - Boychuk
Pelech - Mayfield
Toews - Aho

Halak
Greiss

something close to this I suspect...

Not as bad as I initially thought. Thought more guys played today.

Lias first official pre-season match as a Rangers - this game will be interesting even though it`s early. :)

He's probably just not in a happy mood because he's been swearing up and down how Bear gloves is going to make the team especially because of his contact when in reality he'll maybe cut it as the 7th dman and play about a dime&Nickel of games.

Every year I get excited about the 1st pre-season game. Every season I am bored by the 2nd period.

Maybe this game will be the one that I can't turn off.
