Maybe I shouldn't be so harsh but where's the fan support in Windsor? It's not like this is a small metropolitan area and a tunnel bus cannot be taken from Detroit.

I don't watch the Q but St. John's looks terrible, not a very good showing for that league.

It's too bad Saint John waited 55 minutes in to get going. Not a great game for them or from our prospects. The game started with a nice hit from Boko but he was pretty quiet the rest of the way. I'd like to see him continue to be physical and play with some sandpaper. Exprospect DiGiacinto on the other hand was being disruptive and sticking out. Him sitting in between the circles in the offensive zone does nothing. I believe he did screen the goalie on Chabots goal that got SJ within 1. Joseph drew 2 penalties, but he made some mistakes with the puck. He almost played hero with a little more than a minute left and the sea dogs down a goal where his shot went off the post. He couldn't really break through with his speed and the sea dogs offense collectively wasn't doing anything which isn't like them. Big win for Windsor on the first day.

Had to tape the Erie game from yesterday. They look like the powerhouse they're suppose to be. I was real excited to see Cernak for the first time. Biggest impression is he's a net protector. He'll make sure you know he's there, sometimes even after the whistle. A few times, including once on Barzal he made sure to put the unlucky passerby right on the ground. 2nd biggest thing is he's more athletic than I thought he'd be. I was expecting more of a reserved stay at home type, but with the way Erie attacks and gets up ice he has no problem joining the offense and being aggressive. He'll carry the puck up or pinch in deep inthe offensive zone if need be. The standout play was a puck he collected high along the wall and took it low and around the net for a wrap around, beating out the guy defending him. Was not expecting that.

Raddysh also looked great. There's definetely a big difference between playin against the average CHL kids and the top WJC teams like the US and Russia. And it showed. He looked a lot faster against his competition and had the puck a whole lot more than he did wih Team Canada a few months back. He had a breakaway and it could of been 2. The speed and smarts difference of his competition really lets him dominate more. So the questions still remain for him, but it was nice to see him be a big piece of his Erie team and play like it.

And then there's Cirelli. Everything still holds true for him too. Great job winning face offs, on the penalty kill, constantly makes plays, including a lot that made their way over to Raddysh. And when Erie was protecting their lead with Seatles goalie pulled, of course it was Cirelli who shined once again and helped create the empty net goal. Consistant and impactful as he was when I saw him during the WJC.

Lastly I know a lot of people here are high on Darren Raddysh, but in my very limited viewing of him, it was very meh. He plays like a 4th forward but he wasn't as impressive as his stats suggest. I look forward to watching him more and getting a better picture.

Otters vs Sea Dogs, 5 Lightning prospects playing right now!

Taylor Raddysh makes it 1-0.

I'm officially on the "sign Darren" train now. The worst thing that can possibly happen is that the kid completely busts. His offensive IQ is great, passing is great, decent shooter. The offensive toolbox is roughly on par with DeAngelo. I gotta say his ceiling is probably a #6 or #7 power play specialist with anywhere from 25-45 point potential if the Lightning have an exceptional power play.

Can you not post the score? In America the game is on delay so we behind and it sucks watching knowing what's gonna happen.

What a blood bath.

BIG night for Raddysh. 2g, 4a, 6pts. Strome finished with a Memorial cup record 7 pts. Raddysh had a 2 on 1 late in the game and could've gone for the hattrick but decided to pass it instead. Very unselfish play. Outside of his offensive domination and the tape to tape passes he makes that fuel the Erie transition game, something interesting was the commentators making note of his quickness and how they didn't see his foot speed as an issue others have labeled him with. Twice he chipped pucks past & beat Zboril to them in the 1st period in the corner. Cernak was as solid as the first game and Cirelli is Mr. Consistency. Even in the 3rd with a giant lead, he and Erie were killing penalties like it was a close game. His goal maneuvering past Chabot, one of the best Dmen in the league, was all him. Lower on skill, high on determination.

I thought Joseph did all he could while Imama disappeared. After having a fairly easy time in the Q playoffs, they've had 2 very disappointing games. Let's see how they respond.

Imama sucked hard. Joseph clearly the Sea Dogs best forward. Cernak, Raddysh, Cirelli as advertised. Raddysh needs to improve his first step and his skating ... his shot, vision, hockey IQ are all there.
