I am wary of Johnson. His production peters out after 10-15 games and I have stat watched him. Hes such a streaky player in the SHL. I would put Kapanen and Timashov over him.

6.) Rinat Valiev
7.) Connor Brown

You really like Dermott but not Neilson, eh?

I have Dzierkals and Neilson ready to break into my top 10. I havent seen the new guys enough yet but I took a risk and put Korshkov and Grundstrom lol

We can put him Willies line, that should get rid of his streakiness  I am a big Kapanen and Timashov fan.

about time. People seriously underrate Brown. Our 13th best prospect? Really? Come On people

I like Brown's desire, determination, etc, but not a big fan of his game. We have too many prospects to choose from now

You would have to be one of the few people in the world who watch hockey and are "not a big fan of his game." Why? Because he doesn't make flashy spins or dekes? I'm not trying to be confrontational. This is an honest question.

Maybe I havent seen him play enough? I will now hold back my opinion of him, until I see more of his game.

Forgot about Rychel! I'd have him under Soshnikov on my list.

I am the only guy that likes lindberg :dunno:

Just because we don't rank him in our top 10 doesn't mean that he's a bad prospect...

Connor Brown is a guy who should be a foot soldier at the NHL level...Guy works really hard and tirelessly forechecks. Has pretty decent skill to go with it, will never be any kind of powerplay guy at the NHL level in my opinion...I see him as a smart two way winger who Babcock should like and trust...But hes going to have to continue adding strength and building his game.

IMO he is not a league above our other prospects such as Timashov, Soshnikov, Kapanen, Lindberg etc.

I do like him though and hope to see him be a workmanlike maple leaf in the near future.

He is a very oppurtunistic scorer though and seems to produce at a pretty high rate everywhere hes gone so far...I hope he can prove me wrong and be a productive offensive forward.

who would you guys pick from the "forgotten list'"?

Like a surprise out of no where?

I think Dakota Joshua has an outside chance of becoming something.
Pierre Envgail did take some positive strides

I seen this video a while ago and was impressed with Engvall, 6' 4"

I like your list! I would maybe put Dermott and Kapanen a little lower and Brown a little higher, but generally, I agree. I'm going to guess that, in a few years, Brooks is going to be right near the top of that list.

After the top 4 prospects who likely make the team this year, its VERY subjective.
Personally, I think both Bracco and Dzerkals have really big years and jump up on a lot of lists, same thing with Grundstrom. Bottom line though, we have a lot of depth in our prospect pool and I'm really looking forward to seeing how some of these guys develop in the next couple of years.
