Ilyin again. Then I have to think again, which is the fun part.

Add... uh... Devlin? (When I did this, I just started adding guys in order of getting drafted)

Ilyin highest remaining draft capital, 5th rounder right? Don't know where these other guys were drafted off the top of my head.

Think Svejkovsky was 4th - or maybe Plante was - maybe both. Ansons 5th as well I think?

Of those that are left, Thimo Nickl is the highest drafted at 104. Then Svej at 108, St. Ivany at 112, Ilyin 142, Ansons 149, Plante 150, Collins 167, Yoder 170, Foster 174, Devlin 182, Laatsch 215, Jarventie 217, Kangas 223, and then the undrafted players.

Plus that player we acquired in the Karlsson trade.

For what it's worth, I have Nickl's upside being that of a Ruhwedel-type.

And here is hockeyprospecting.com 's comparison tool for Nickl vs. Ilyin (who I voted for):

I've only messed around with the tools on that website (not read the blog etc.), but so far I don't think it is worth $25US/year.

And who was it that compared Daniil But and Ilyin saying that if all things work out then Ilyin could amount to But's upside? Cause based on those charts I owe them an apology for thinking it was a preposterous claim.

I think it was me, but I was just kinda parroting someone on twitter who seemed to be far more involved with and knowledgeable about prospects than I'll ever be.

When do we lost the signing rights to Nickl? I’d probably vote for him before many on the list now.

Before you decide you should know Ilyin had 0 points and 4 PIM in Cherepovets opener today. That’s a pace of 272 PIM
