I thought this could be a fun little debate. Using our prospects to build a line-up, and they all have 3+ years of experience in the NHL, would it be a playoff lineup? This of course is the post McDavid-Draisaitl-Nurse era.

Petrov - Holloway - Lavoie
Savoie - Bourgault - Tullio
Berezkin - McLeod - J. Chiasson
Lindewall - Denezhkin - Safin
LaChance - Mazura

Broberg - Bouchard
Samorukov - Berglund
Munzenberger - Kemp
Niemelainen

Konovalov
Skinner
Rodrigue

We're not taking in to account trades, future drafts, signings, etc. Just for todays prospects. Would this be a playoff team?

I think it would be more interesting (and realistic) to look at it with players that will still be under contract

Regardless, there would be other moves, signings etc so difficult to say

Not a playoff team, but I would think this is awfully close to being in the top 10 league wide in terms of depth. And the top 5 is very solid.

It's the idea that they developed 3+ years with quality development and they progress steadily to their prospective potential.

Let's say each one levels up to average NHLer output based on their position. Hypothetically.

I say yes, and very good team. Mobile, Quick and hard nosed.

Just from the impression of the type of players that the Oilers have been drafting lately. Many of them seem to have High Ceilings.

If they develop the way they were initially projected, I can't see why this type of team can't grind it's way into the playoffs and win.

Who is Petrov?
Why is Benson missing?

This group would have done well in Penticton if there was a prospect tournament this year. Goalies and D look solid and we got some gems up front.
