Getting concerned about Ehlers "neck spasms", keeps going on and on and on... reminiscent of his injury last season. I wonder what he actually did in the gym to cause this issue. My money is on a botched deadlift.

My money is on a disc herniation in his cervical spine. Wouldn’t be surprised if he needed surgery and missed a good part of the season again.

Based on my medical knowledge and the fact that a simple muscular strain would have settled over a period of 2 weeks. I don’t have any access to his medical records so it is, of course, just speculation.

Yeah thats a bit of what I was alluding to. neck spasms being a symptom of something larger, although wasn't thinking as bad as a herniated disc lol

Buuut.... Did have sports-hernia/abdominal surgery last year... What's the opposing muscle group to that?

Agreed. For neck spasms that was supposed to clear itself up in a couple of days we are going on a couple of weeks. It's also odd that the coach keeps changing his time table. He's going to play and then not going to play a day before. Let's hope this doesn't morph into a repeat of last year.
