We outplayed them most of the game. Fleury stood on his head to keep us from blowing it open early. A bad penalty. A terrible pass. A crazy OT, willing to forfeit a point, and Hynes bones his old team.

Preds are known for being on the wrong end of wacky. Especially this past week.

They probably don't practice 4-on-3 penalty kills much and, when they do, it's probably with the same few guys. Forsberg doesn't penalty kill at all and he was caught out there by it. Also, being surprised by the move probably didn't help.

To be fair, when Forsberg and Nyquist hopped over the boards they were expecting to play 3 on 3 hockey. All of a sudden they are playing 3 on 4 PK...is it really that surprising? Nyquist was playing as a D-man .

That was crazy ballsy by Hynes. Have to give credit where credit is due.
