If money is a problem, which I do not forsee it being one, then Nylander or Marleau are the first casualties, because we should not have two 3rd line wingers taking up over 13 mill combined.

Horton on LTIR puts us at 85 mill flat, assuming we do not have bonus overages (which we should not given how much cap space is left). At 83M, we'd need to find another 2 mill in savings somewhere... Most likely by not giving Matthews and Marner 25% of the cap combined when they are not worth it; not even for 8 years... Even if it means cutting down on term, they can probably find over 2 mill worth of savings right there. If cap is still a problem because let's say Johnsson or Kapanen ask for more, then Marleau (if we can move him) or Nylander (if we cannot) would likely be the first ones on the chopping block.

Marleau has a NTC and I highly doubt he is going to wave it before his last year. Dubas also won’t go back on his word of trading Nylander unless it’s desperate.

Top Line in the League next year. Matthews shot with Marner's playmaking and Andersons size make this line DANGEROUS --> 20 Minutes/Night

Second Line:
Elite Elite two way/shut down line. This line can play against the top competition every night and outscore them. Kadri and Simmonds will drive the other teams crazy, while allowing Tavares to take off offensively. Would be Scary on the forecheck --> 20 Minutes/Night

Third Line:
Good shut down line, that can play with an edge and provide offence. Probably not the best third line in the league, but could play against anyone --> 14 Minutes/Night

Fourth Line:
Its a 4th line --> 6 Minutes/Night
