I was just looking at an article on PredsLines and it got me thinking. Forsberg is improving every year. Just two full seasons in and the guy has totaled 60 goals, 73 assists and 133 points through 182 games. goal totals of 26 and 33 respectively.
There is an interesting comparison with Tarasenko. In the past 2 seasons he has totaled 77 goals, 70 assists in 157 games played. goal totals of 37 and 40 respectively.
It's not a bad comparison. My question is; What do we think Forsberg can do this season? Can he hit 40 goals this season?
The article makes a point that Subban moved the puck 600 more times than Weber last season and this could be influential.
Now I know the importance of scoring depth throughout 3 lines, but Forsberg with Johansen could probably get him to that goal total. No matter the line, what are your predictions or thoughts on how many goals he could/will score this season.
