Signing goalies and D (like the new Pyrochta deal)... great. Preds have lost some of those top picks, but if they can find any free agent prospect gems, that's a nice bonus. They seem to have a pretty good draw. Don't seem to go much for the college FAs, but scooping up the Euro goalies and D is something the pipeline can use.

Eh, why so many goalies? Even if Rinne retires and Lindback & O'Connor will not be signed, there's still 7 goalies remaining. Sounds excessive.

Guessing most of them suck and so just adding another one hoping one out of the bunch will stick.

I'm not sure they definitely suck but having more chances for one of them to become an NHL level talent isnt a bad idea as long as we have the contract space

It feels like goalies are just absolute mysteries in terms of development. Compare Rinne, a 7th round pick, and Saros, a 4th round pick, with 6th overall Brian Finley. Or 18th overall Chet Pickard.
