Salaried dynasty league - G, A, PPP, SHP, PIMs, Hits and Blocks for skaters. Weekly H2H matchups.

7th OA + Ryan Donato vs
4th OA (lottery pick) + Robert Thomas.
(Lotto odds are 40%, 30%, 20% and 10% for 1 OA and 40%, 33% and 27% for remaining teams drawing for 2 OA).

Who adds?

Does moving 7th OA for 30th OA (last pick of the 3rd round) + one of Jake Allen, Malcolm Subban or Rickard Rakell make sense with the linked roster instead?

W, GAA, SV, SV% and SHO for goaltenders.

@MasterMatt25 I appreciate your input regarding roster recommendations, but you didn't comment on the OP at all.

Also, when comparing the players in question that you recommend, the stats don't back most of the moves up - especially in a salary format. (see images below) Look at the side by side stat comparison, followed by the games played and salary paid for this past season. I am using role players (Tom Wilson 2.4 PIM, 3.2 hits per game and Nicolas Deslaurier 0.9 PIM, 4.1 hits per game average being key contributions last season) in my roster to win my weekly H2H matchups. I went 37-8-1 (81.5%) across the hits and PIMs categories through 23 weeks. That's 2/12 of the available scoring categories won. Peripherals are not to be ignored in player analysis for roster purposes, as peripherals score the same as goals and assists category wins - 2 points per win each week. I was 4th with 116-94-30 for 262 pts (54.6%) - Anaheim went 134-78-28 for 296 pts (61.7%) to lead the league.

If a player makes over 2.75mil they must clear waivers to go to a GM farm team in season for our league - so saving 10 mil in cap space for in season IR moves, or calling up hot high price tag players is necessary. A waiver freeze is in effect for the off-season and All-star break.

Playing some of these bargain contracts (Dunn, Rodrigues, Donato for my league's playoffs) allowed me to pay 9 mil to Ekblad and Suter, 13.8 mil to Patrick Kane, 6 mil to Evander Kane. During the semi finals (which I lost 5-6-1 due to a Rakell goal in the dying minutes of the last game of the week) I had 232,500$ of cap space available of the 110 mil salary cap - you can't pay all of your most talented players in our format - Anaheim has been lobbying for a higher cap ceiling for years, so he can afford more of his stars, look at his AHL farm team here (TOR section). He narrowly edged me in the semi finals on the way to his 3peat as league champion and 4th title in 11 years.

While Dunn was underwealming at times, he also produced in bunches. Donato showed well to end the season - unless I trade him, his 925k salary and waiver exemption value far exceeds the lost stats off my score board. Smith was streaky and I'm more likely to reserve for an IR replacement role in season than use outright - he doesn't outproduce Donato's 82 game point projection by much, even if Donato regresses from his 0.75 PPG in 12 GP to 0.5 PPG over 82 (41 pts) vs Smith's 51 Pts in 79 GP the 925k vs 4.25mil justifies playing Donato.

Too much research for me to consider other things in your roster.

7oa and Donato add. 4th is better than 7th and i have Robert Thomas and Donato at the same tier of player.
