Some are more accomplished than others and some have been more injury-prone than others, but under different circumstances, how different could things have been?

This should be a shutout. As great as mackinnon is, there is literally no argument for him that is not immediately trumped by “yeah but mcdavid.”

McDavid has stepped up huge in the playoffs past 2 years. I was a huge critic of his for playoffs previously (2021 was just bad) - but he's arguably better than MacKinnon ever was in playoffs already.
