Goaltending is tough this year. The Russian goalies are both so good but they probably split the games and Subban should have been a lock but his poor camp has put him in a vulnerable position if he falters during the pre-comp games. I went with the only guaranteed starter in Gibson, but that team has to play both the Russian and Canada in its group so even that pick has issues. Plus he' just coming off an injury. Probably should have left goaltending for the end and just taken the last remaining goalie from Latvia!

Yeah, I'm just going to pick one of the platoon starters late and hope for the best. This year is the worst for goalies. I don't trust Subban.

Haha, I wish! I figure Vasilevsky will atleast be starting the tourny as thats what Russia usually does with returning starters, its his job to lose to Makarov, but he was the only other good goalie left haha

We're not doing too bad on the pace, but I admit I'm kind of impatient and would love to get us really rolling somehow. Anybody have any ideas on that? Perhaps everyone could submit a list of their next three choices and if you don't check in after a couple hours we just take the highest available guy from your list?

It should be that if you do not think you will be around for your next pick you should submit to the pool runner (Statsy) 2-4 players you would take at your pick if available most to least. You list should not be posted in the thread for sake of letting everyone know who is on your draft list. That is usually how its done in most other pools I think. We could do that or after a certain agreed time frame we can vote on a player to give them. If it happens more than once, They should be replaced by someone on the waiting list.
