I'd give Gudas another look. Over all I agree. imo Simmonds does not want to play at all.. I think he is pissed he plays on 3rd line.

SO that answer, is to remove 2 guys capable of being PPG players, and replacing them with??? Then that forces everyone else up the lineup and most can barely handle where they are now.

This is REALLY simple people. Giroux and Jake are going to be our vets to help the next core...that is very soon to be the "now" core.

For the 100th time....what Hextall is doing is NOT ABOUT WINNING TODAY....BUT IN THE FUTURE.

Do you think it is good coaching to only play your best goal scorer for the last several months for 12 minutes when you need goals, while a struggling player gets 20?

Exactly this. The roster is flawed, and the coach emphasizes those flaws with poor choices.
