most NHL game ops music is pretty awful. target audience: white males between the ages of 20 and 50.
playoff anthems take things to the next level:
"what can white senior citizens really groove behind in order to rally behind the team?"
"I know! a PARODY!"

Problem being a big difference what a 20 year old listens to compared to a 50 year old. Once someone turns 40, I think the rule is to say today's music sucks. My grand father said it to my Dad. My Dad said to me and I'm saying it to my kids now.
