Three things:
1. Holtz probably wouldn't have played another shift after that turnover in the third if Lindy was still behind the bench.
2. We'd probably be in a playoff spot if Allen had waived his NTC the first time Fitz tried to trade for him.
3. Great play by Jack on the wall to set up Bratt on Timo's second goal.

Boy, do I wish they'd play the Pens 20 times a season :D The people on the Pens board really hate Sullivan it seems. Jake Allen with another great performance, the game could've gone a totally different route with bad goaltending. Pens had enough chances when the game was close, but Allen was awesome in that span.

I fell asleep between the second and third, but the game to that point was generally bad. Two bad teams playing bad hockey. I don't understand how they can look so crap after a really solid game against Dallas. I had some hope as they looked like a different team that game. But they went right back to trash. At least the pens were somehow more trash last night.

Jack collecting 2 points. Even when he looks bad, he’s getting points. He’s that good.

He’s clearly injured though and they need to shut him down quick.
Sadly I believe they are waiting until mathematically eliminated. I wish it would be sooner so it wouldn’t interfere with offseason training/workouts.

It could be something like what Timo had. He played though it as well and looked bad doing it, but somehow someday he was back to normal and is playing great ever since. I would hope they would shut Jack down immediately if it was really serious or something that could get worse by playing.

100 point pace with his points per game over an 82 game season, even when he has clearly not been himself for good chunks of the season. I look forward to how he'll come back next year. If there's one thing people can't dispute about Jack, it's that he is motivated and busts his ass in the offseason.

Odds are almost 0, but if they get in a run here, it’d be huge.

I feel like we do this every single time they win a game dating back to the outdoor game and they always follow it up with 2 or 3 consecutive losses.

The next game after a win they'll double up the other team in shots but lose 5-2 and the following game they'll get dominated and look like they don't even belong in the league.

Then we'll rinse and repeat with a random 6-1 win followed up by 2 or 3 more losses.

even though he scored i thought holtz had a pretty poor showing. possession just seems to die on his stick way too often. he doesnt win enough board battles and he stick handles himself into trouble and eventually turnovers way too often

Wow I watched the game yesterday and had no idea MacDermid was scratched the whole time.
MacDermid probably only needs to play one more game this season. And hopefully he speaks to me first about how to play it so he understands that fighting Rempe is only one part of his assignment.

Yup zero consistency all season.

But I'm a believer! This is the start of a 10 game winning streak, I have a good feeling!

You know who wasn't trash?

Jake Allen.

I had forgotten what a Goaltender who can make both routine and great saves looks like.

And I bet Jake (being the VETERAN he is) would ignore whatever BS that comes out of Rogalski's stupid mouth if he attempts to "coach" him.
