Was working so only just got to watch the replay.....

Bennett needs to banned, that goal was filthy, by god I don't think I will ever be clean again.

Also and maybe I saw things different to everyone else in the entire, except the ref on the Crosby holding call, but the impression I got from the call, was Crosby was pissed that Russell ran him into the boards and tried to drop him... and then listening to the commentators and then reading this thread and everyone's all like "Not sure what the penalty was for" and I'm all like "are you seeing the same thing as me?"

We saw the exact same thing! It looked like Crosby was pissed and got revenge. It was a little confusing on the replay, though, because Crosby kicks his legs up into the air to drop him rather than kicking Russell's legs out.

I didn't watch the game, but rather went to the movies and watched Spectre. Should have watched the Flames game last night instead.

Not saying it's terrible, but it has nothing on Casino Royale and Skyfall.

Crosby is regressing hard, that concussion a few years ago is still affecting him IMO.

There was a time last year that same thing was said about Ovechkin. I still think Crosby wins the scoring race this year. I thought he and Malkin for that matter looked dangerous all game, we just did a good job of containing them, bending but not breaking in our own zone.

Missed the best game of the year by a landslide homeboy.

:biglaugh: I read this as a SNL skit in my head!

On another note, how good was Brodie last night? I feel like that he's on that Josi path right now and is on the verge of becoming elite. He's just such a treat to watch.

It's actually sad that we are 3 points behind the 3rd place Sharks. We are 7 points behind a wildcard team.

The Central is a really good division.

Stoke me a clipper.
Because of my migraine condition, I have special pills. They totally work, but can take up to 2-3 hours to kick in. Going to Timmy's now so will be good in about 30 min.

Anyone want anything?
I have a similar issue with migraines and chinooks. My go-to is one asprin, one tylenol and one advil, chased with a red bull, then go back to bed.

He missed an open net, and failed to clear the puck on the Kessel goal despite making a great move to get up the boards

But on the plus side led the rush many times, and jumped a bunch of Pitts passes, outside of the Kessel goal and 1 other chance in the 2nd he didn't allow anything to happen in the Flames zone.
He was the best Dman for either team last night as he is many nights.

Haven't tried the Asprin in my cocktail, but it makes sense as it would make the other pills hit your bloodstream faster.

Before I got my medication, I'd do 2 x Tylenol and 2 x Advil (extra strength) and a large coffee, so a similar mix. The caffeine wakes my brain back up so I can remain at work.

To me that's one of the best goals of the year for sure!

Best gif of the year for sure as well!

But the goal was nice, Bennett's is still way better.

This goal was just visual evidence that we're starting to get bounces go our way... if you believe in that sort of stuff :handclap:

I don't know if I agree with the "way better" part, but I do think the Bennett goal was better. I definitely agree with the second statement though!

Well i mean that if you put you and me on the ice and give us 1,000 tries, we could bounce pass the puck into that there net just like Money and Johnny.

Give me 100,000 tries to do what Sam did... well, it ain't happening.

way more luck was involved in the Monahan goal, the Bennett was was pure skill. Cole is good NHL defenseman and he had to go back to the locker room to find a new jockstrap after that.
