His prolonged health problems cost Lukas Bengtsson most of last season and ten spots in the poll but he's finally come off the board. Added Joe Masonius who is entering his junior year at UConn.

Anyone have a link to an old Prospects poll, when guys like Guentzel, Sheary, Rust, and Murray were still prospects? It would be interesting to see how far off we were collectively about those guys.

Not to throw this off track, but I didn't contribute to the last few prospect threads - what do people think about Lauzon? I have heard we drastically over drafted him, but I have also heard he's a project with some great tools.

I guarantee that college prospects have consistently flown under the radar of the board because they're somewhat out sight, out of mind and because most players come on stronger in years three and four. And, personally, I sometimes find them difficult to know where it becomes exciting. Sheary and Guentzel were small and therefore started at -10.

Murray... I'm pretty sure no one cared until he destroyed the AHL. Jarry was the successor to Fleury a couple of years from now.

The collective record is probably deeply flawed until spoonfed the right pick, but I think that's the nature of the beast.

Yeah, here's the thread about Murray and Jarry signing their ELCs. Not to throw anyone under the bus but very few expectations were put on him and then he had some freaky development curve. His stats jumped up that season and then he exploded once he hit the AHL. It was freaky.
