Playing EA's NHL series has taught me a lot about how to manage an NHL team over the years. One of the interesting things I learned was that when a player is injured and will miss at least 7 days, a smart GM can put that player on injured reserve. This allows them to add another player to the roster, and gives the necessary cap relief to do that. It's pretty neat.

Marc Bergevin should play some NHL and learn some of these neat tips and tricks.

The one starting goalie keeper rule was for expansion, and no longer applies this season. You can keep as many goalies as you like, but remember we're still planning to reduce to one active slot next season.
