Panthers Looking for Help on the Wing

The Florida Panthers have been mired in a bit of a slump lately thanks to injuries to its second leading scorer Alex Daigle and it's second line winger Fernando Pisani. The Panthers are on the hunt for a winger who can help the team on one of the top two lines, but not an aging star whos contract you are trying to get rid of. Florida is said to be shopping last year's first rounder Tuuka Rask in exchange for said type of player.

Another report suggests that the Panthers might also listen to offers on prospect Rob Schremp, as well as Rask.

Also reports out of Florida say that GM Otten is having a hard time locking up potential UFA forward Mats Sundin to an extension and might explore the option of dealing him, if the offer is right.
